Welcome To The Gresford Osteopathic Clinic

At The Gresford Osteopathic Clinic, we aim to offer the highest standard of care and attention. By accurately diagnosing the cause of your discomfort, our professional and approachable osteopaths provide effective treatment and after care that works to improve movement and alleviate pain.

Using techniques to suit each individual such as gentle soft-tissue release, joint manipulation and massage, we specialise in relieving a range of conditions, including back, neck and shoulder pain, sports injuries and arthritis. We can offer specialist support for pregnant women and treatments for babies and children, including cranial osteopathy.

We also offer corporate packages to help improve the health and wellbeing of employees in the workplace.

Treatments

We specialise in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders.

Acute pain in the back, neck and shoulders can cause headaches, pins and needles, dizziness and numbness.

Sports injuries are likely to occur following an increase in frequency, intensity or duration. We can diagnose the cause.

As your body ages you may start to experience joint pains, arthritis, and stiffness in your lower back, hips and knees.

The physical, chemical and emotional changes that occur in pregnancy can impose a strain on the organs, ligaments, tissues and joints of the body.

Cranial osteopathy is a very gentle and safe treatment for babies and children. On average, two to six treatments are sufficient.

We can correct postural issues and help manage conditions associated with the vertebral malformation.

At The Gresford Osteopathic Clinic, we are very fortunate to have onsite a McCue bone sonometer

Massage therapy can help to reduce or eliminate pain, improve mobility, boost circulation and reduce muscular tension.

We can treat your injury or discomfort to support your general health and wellbeing and enable you to work free of pain.

1. Examination

During your initial visit we will gain an understanding of your condition by assessing your symptoms and examining your postural movements, joints, tissues and ligaments. All information will remain confidential.

2. Diagnosis

We specialise in diagnosing the cause of your pain. Following diagnosis, we will advise the best course of treatment for your individual needs. The benefits and any risks will be fully discussed prior to commencing treatment.

3. Treatment

We will alleviate pain and improve mobility using a hands-on treatment that involves joint manipulation, soft tissue massage and stretching. We explain what we are doing throughout for total peace of mind.

4. After Care

Following treatment, it is normal for you to feel sore for 24-48 hours. We will recommend any self-help techniques or exercises that may speed up recovery or prevent the recurrence of symptoms.
